[Me questioning a witness in an ST&E hearing]

In 2023, ST&E has 40 bills before it. Of the 40 bills, 37 are about energy, two are about communications, and one should have gone to the Commerce Committee. With 37 out of 40 bills being about energy, you can see why I call this committee the Energy, Energy and Energy Committee.

ST&E is made of 10 Republicans and 10 Democrats. The chair, vice-chair, and clerk are all Republicans. Our ranking member is Rep. Kat McGhee and our deputy ranking member is Rep. Rebecca McWilliams.
